Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us provide and improve the LuxPark Service. We use cookies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and ensure security.

2. Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled:

  • Session Cookie: Maintains your login session (expires when you close your browser)
  • Clerk Auth Cookie: Manages authentication via Clerk (secure, httpOnly)
  • Locale Preference: Remembers your language choice (en, fr, de, pt, lu)
  • CSRF Token: Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks

3. Analytics & Tracking

LuxPark does not use analytics cookies by default. We do not track your behavior across the web or use third-party analytics services. Your privacy is our priority.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We use the following third-party services that may set cookies:

  • Clerk: Authentication provider (see Clerk's cookie policy)
  • Stripe: Payment processing (see Stripe's cookie policy)

5. Cookie Consent

Essential cookies are automatically set when you use the Service. We do not require explicit consent for essential cookies as they are necessary for functionality. If we introduce optional cookies in the future, we will provide a consent mechanism.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being set
  • Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly
  • You can clear cookies from your browser at any time

7. Data Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies (like locale preference) are retained for up to 1 year. You can delete them manually at any time.

8. Contact Us

For questions about our cookie practices, contact us at privacy@luxpark.lu or write to 1, Boulevard de la Foire, L-1528 Luxembourg.
